"Time waits for no one..."

EXCEPT ME! BWAHAHA!
That's right, I'm time-proof. >:D
It's necessary for my Procrastination Campaign.
Yup.
Yup.
Yup.
Sorry, I was trying to convince myself. La~lala~
In this procrastination campaign, it's a mental war, more than anything else.
Our (me, myself, more me's) weapons are a mouse and a notebook with a dead ODD (this wasn't an intentional handicap, darn ASUS).
Armor consists of an assortment of caps and hooded shirts.
Our modus operandi? Eat good food and watch anime. ^_______^
~~

So first up, the anime~

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo

It was really good. ^^,
A really, really good watch. :D
I recommend it to everybody who ever comes across this entry (if any at all).
This is not one of those oh-cooooool kinds.
It's one of those light, touching kinds. ^____________^
The official English title seems to be "The Girl who Leapt through Time". From the title itself, this is all about a girl who can leap through time... Well, not exactly. Makoto is just your ordinary high school girl when tada~ all of the sudden, she had time LEAPING (and i mean LEAPING, she LEAPS, lol. You'll know if you watch. ;p) capabilities. At first, she was all, "oh kewl~ time-leaps! SWEET." But well, we wouldn't have a movie that got into anidb's top 10 if she just leapt and grinned all the time, would we? At some point, her leaps involved somewhat bigger matters in life, though it might seem like they weren't. And somehow, things just started to go wrong........
And there you have the conflict of the movie. :D At some point will come the climax~

And then the resolution~

Beware! These pictures may mean or may not mean what you think they do. O~ho~ho~
Suffice to say that they do not count as spoilers. ^___^
~~

Then the food~

Well, nothing like watching good anime while eating good food. ^_____^
But since I don't have the images yet, and I wanted them to do most of the talking, I'll edit this entry tomorrow. (Ahem. Procrastination. Campaign is going oh-so-smoothly~ Lalala~)
Minimal description: Mushroom-shaped Choco-topped biscuits. :D :D

-EDIT-

First, the BOX:

Inside, you find a cute wrapper:

And inside...
Chocolatey goodness~ XD

~~

Tomorrow, Geass shall end.
I don't have any more words for this one.
Lalala~

Underwater Elections

Misleading title? Perhaps... but then again, perhaps not.
The 2008 Great American Seafood Cook Off is now open and you can go and vote for your favorite edible underwater creature (a.k.a. seafood) recipe!

There are five dishes presented for voting. The recipe and a delicious-looking photo are available for each to help you judge which gives off the best underwater goodness aura!
After looking at each of them, I have decided that my favorite would be the Mississippi Redfish Courtboullion with Seafood Dirty Rice by Chef John Currence from Mississippi. I had a hard time deciding between the abovementioned dish and the Pan Roasted Glazed Rockfish with Peas and Carrots, but in the end, I’m a sucker for dishes presented in a bowl and for rice mixed with a bunch of stuff, so I decided to go for the Mississippi dish. Just looking at the picture makes me want to try it! But trying it would involve preparing the dish, and as much as I want to do that, I can’t right now. Maybe I’ll do that sometime in the not so faraway future... Well, if ever I do try it though, there’s only one thing about it I would change and that would be removing the chicken livers from the seafood dirty rice. Why? I’m really just not into livers. That’s all there is to it. I guess that would change the taste somewhat, but even if I didn’t change the recipe, I doubt I could actually make it as good as the original anyway, so, changing it can’t really do much more damage, I suppose!
All the dishes featured in the cook off were domestic, sustainable seafood recipes. Aside from being more easily available, using domestic seafood also guarantees freshness and therefore also guarantees a more tasty meal.
Well, I’ve made my choice. Which would you vote for? Head to the Great American Seafood Cook Off website now and cast your vote for chance to win a trip to New Orleans! The trip is only available for U.S. residents, but anyone can vote and the recipes are really worth taking a look at. So, go and vote now!

Nestle Pops and Avatar

They're good for comfort, you should try them!
http://www.thebachelorgirl.com/2008/1018/nestle-pops-vanilla-ice-cream-covered-in-chocolate/
I've no idea what's written there about it, but I just included that link for the pictures. :D
The taste isn't really special, but the poppy goodness is pure poppy goodness~!
Now, what do I mean by poppy goodness?
It's that XD feeling when you go *pop* a piece into your mouth and go XD. Then *pop*, then XD. Ice cream in poppy goodness~~ XD XD

~~

Avatar is over!
Ahh, it was a long journey~
Well, it said "The End" in the end and it was the end of the main storyline, but I'm pretty sure they'll go make ova-esque episodes after this. The ending is very suitable for such an after-series thingy.
Anyway, it was fun 'til the end~
Go team avatar!! lol.
~~

Geass is hell as usual.
So, what's new?
And whatever else Lelouch says, C.C. is right.
Living is only living because you get to die in the end.
~~

But even if you get to die in the end, it's not an assurance that you have lived.
So, how do people live?
And why should anyone bother with all these anyway?
But these are the questions from which the little cracks form and propagate.
And in the end, the only reason the claws of the dark side of the source are catching up is because of foolish little wishes of what would seem to be one of the most important parts of life as everyone knows it.
To count, and keep on counting. Thus, it has been decided by the purportedly highest force in this dimension. Just one or two more should be enough. What is unachievable at the moment should be recognized as such and all hopes for unreasonable imaginary events should be discarded. All present resources should be focused on preparing the single entity, which purportedly holds the highest force in this matter of such great importance, for the battle which shall come at the end of this counting.
Will our hero be able to restore balance?
Will this dimension break and fall apart?
Can it ever be rebuilt or shall it stay broken for all eternity?
Counting up 'til the time comes. Until all parameters have reached optimal levels and all desired conditions have been met, this battle cannot ensue and thus no questions will be answered.
But perhaps one day, if the will and the courage finally find each other and become one, with the irrevocable words offering an entire dimension, then answers shall be found and this story will have found its end.
~~

So, in the end, even if fire and lighting are beautiful and their brilliance hard to resist, this soul would still choose air.
The quiet flight to the ends of the seemingly endless sky...
The song of the sky will always be the voice that this soul heeds.
It cannot be helped.
Plus, think of all the air pollution you'd cause if you went around rocketing in the skies through fire-bending. As if this earth isn't already polluted enough.
Yeah, oh yeah~ Clean is green! :D
All for world peace and pizza!!!
Ninjin loves you, YEAH!!!!!!!
