~What I've been wanting to try for daysss now~

I wonder how people can be serious and write that way... Seriously. lol.
While it may seem hard to believe, I meant no offense of any kind at all with my previous lines.

Ah, well, today I would like to post about a bunch of things.
First, I would like to mention that it finally rained. After how many days of unbelievably humid weather, it's now raining. I bet the sky is relieved. And so is the earth. And so am I..
Second, I would like to mention that I finally got around to catching my first Niconico live with dasoku and clear in it. Yay~
As I'm o_O with moonrunes and didn't bother finding out much, I didn't know whether they limit the number of non premium user access to the NicoRaji (seriously, it's nicoraji.. though I suppose I could write it as nicoradi...) live broadcast. At some point during the weekend, I was convinced I should go get a premium account. But, well, I have no credit card and it seemed they won't accept my visa debit card, so I sighed a sigh of resignation and kept a dying ember of hope in my heart which was certain to be extinguished come that fateful moment when Niconicodouga will politely tell me that my slot/seat has been given to a premium user. Ah~ even in online video sites, the power of money comes to step on the dreams of people who don't have credit cards.
Then came the fateful day of the broadcast. I was there when there were still under a thousand people around. The numbers started rising. While as a fan of clear and dasoku, I should have been happy to see that, a part of me dreaded the should-have-been inevitable moment when a premium user would send me away with his/her 525 yen monthly payment. Apparently, all that build-up towards my supposedly impending doom was going to be rendered pointless for LO AND BEHOLD! I was not sent away. Maybe they accomodate everyone for niconico related broadcasts like NicoRadi (yeah, inconsistency).
In any case, I got to listen/watch the live broadcast~~
I thought it called for a celebration, so I went out to get cake from one of the 24-hr cafes around~

They flashed clear and dasoku's faces for a bit too, by the way, lololol. Well, dasoku always shows himself, but it seems clear hardly does, so I guess this is a rare thing and I'm glad I was there to experience the event~
I'm not a full-fledged fangirl so I didn't record the video stream. Even if I did, I wonder, anyway, if it would be nice to post not-so-public-figure-type people's faces on my not-really-public-either-lol blog. But clear was wearing one of those surgical masks (as usual?), anyway, so it wouldn't have been something to report me to the internet police for~ Still though, one must not underestimate the TRAFFIC POLICE FORCE. LOL. Poor Celty, hahaha. Fujiwara Kei's voice really suit characters like that, right?
I've digressed...
Actually, on a related note, a friend of mine sort of said that I could never become a full-fledged fangirl because I don't dream of marrying the guys I "fangirl" about. Uh. Well. Sorry, then? The ferris wheel is pretty from afar, after all...~ ~~loltrustissueslol~~But for lack of a better term, I will keep on using the word "fangirl".
Also related, at least to the pictures, is clear's like? love? for sweet stuff. In the smiley*2 album, his character's hobby is supposedly making sweets and eating them. This is supposedly on a totally different level since he even stays up too late doing this. At first, I didn't know that clear really did like sweets, but really, I should've known. After all, Mocha was mentioned in the album, lol.
Continuing on clear's love for sweets, I was relistening to one of the recorded radio shows which I got from either clear's or dasoku's blog (can't remember which), and at some point in this one, it seems clear fell asleep, or at least he just stopped talking for a pretty long time. Enter Panyo (~~I still haven't seen Ponyo T_T I fail. T_T~~) who apparently likes sweets. At some point they start talking about a store named Sweets Paradise (WANT), and Panyo says he's only gone to the one in Osaka, but he doesn't know if there's one in Tokyo. Pupi says he hasn't gone there (Tokyo branch), but he sort of remembers his friends having gone there and talking about it. Clear says where it is. Wotamin says "DETA". SOU NE, DEMASHITA NE. LOL clear, what's up with the timing? Heh. Funny that I missed this when I listened to it the first time around though... hmm.
Well, even though his like for sweets is a fact, I have no idea if he actually *makes* sweets. In her live earlier, wotamin did mention that clear is a busy guy. Lol. I know, I'm internet stalking. But it's fun to obsess over people and characters~ Lol.
While I also love sweets, it's not particularly worthy of mention in relation to clear's love for sweets since I am a girl, and you know, most girls like sweets.
I think that wraps it up for the second thing.
Oh, just a note though, I'm not fluent in Japanese. My knowledge is very limited, but I do get to understand portions of conversations and I can make simple sentences, I guess. If there are any mistakes, well, no one reads this blog anyway. Lol. At this point anyway... Who knows what the future may bring~? Riiiight, moving on.
The third thing I want to write about is this blog. After it sat with a damaged template for months, I now finally got around to fixing my selectively expandable posts and my header image. Yay for me. It seems blogger made some updates and killed my template mods along the way. -.- Oh well, all is well now~ All I had to do was clear the mods to the widgets and add the codes again, it seems. Blogger now has it's own expandable post feature. It also now has pages. I should really get around to making a layout for my wordpress blog. And I am now getting sleepy.
Technically, the live broadcast was yesterday evening, but since I haven't gone to sleep yet, it's still the same day for me. (^ ^)b

Imagination~!

Technically, though, it isn't exactly life, because, well, it's still merely a bunch of drawings put together. But, well, close enough~ After all, life is just a bunch of moments put together, right? :D Or wait. Do I just need to get a life or something? Well, moving on...

Remember the invisible monsters from Ga-Rei Zero?

Those are class ones though, the class B one looks like a bad CG of a large fire type pokemon and it ROLLS. Seriously. Anyway, so there were these invisible monster-like creatures in Ga-Rei who could only be seen by special people or by ordinary people wearing special equipment. However, the ordinary people who could only see them through the special equipment stuff can't really see them all that clearly. Yep, nothing beats natural vision, my friends.
Anyway, I recently (well... weeks ago...) caught up in watching Full Metal Alchemist and I met the real form of Envy-san.

I thought it was amazing! Not because it was amazing in itself, but because even before watching Ga-Rei, in one of my useless imagination moments, I was thinking of a similar concept for a story that will, of course, never materialize in this side of reality. I thought a pretty good villain would be a combination of the Ga-Rei pokemon, I mean, well, whatever they were, and Envy. These monsters would be invisible, but yes, they can be seen through special equipment, but they wouldn't be clear. But to those who can see them, they will be horrible and heart-wrenching at the same time because they will look somewhat like Envy, like a bunch of humans slapped together and they will, in fact be humans. The humans that the creature has consumed, or should I say, assimilated into its being.
Isn't it a cool enemy? It will look horrible, and repulsive, but at the same time, it will be made of humans, some of whom will still be alive, by the way, but will be in terrible suffering, and there will be no way to save them, so they will have to die with the enemy creature. It will make way for dilemmas and stuff like that. :D
And then here it is! Sure, these are two separate animes, but I guess it means there was some worth to my random thoughts. Heeheehee... I can actually think up stuff that may just sell to people. I'm pretty amazed.
Anyway, just another useless record of my thoughts slapped on this ~~Lelouch Shrine~~ Blog floating around aimlessly in the Internet, much like my soul in this world. Ah~ life~

Earlier in this century, Asbestos was widely used for various industrial purposes. Unbenknownst to the workers, this substance would one day lead them to their deaths. While many uses of asbestos has already been banned in many countries, the aftereffects of the usage of it in earlier years aren't completely gone.

Mesothelioma is a cancer most commonly diagnosed in people of have been exposed to asbestos earlier in their life, mostly due to their working circumstances. It targets the mesothelium, a membrane that covers and protects most of our internal organs. After this, it quickly spreads to the organs themselves, most commonly, the lungs and the liver. This cancer is very difficult to detect in its early stages and is only detected usually only when the cancer is already in a very serious stage. People who are diagnosed with Mesothelioma are usually told that they probably have only one more year to live.

There is also another disease caused by asbestos exposure called asbestosis. While this disease is not related to and will not lead to cancer, it is still a serious condition as it affects the lungs of the person.

Quite a number of families are affected emotionally because of a loved one being diagnosed with the abovementioned conditions. If not for their being exposed to asbestos, their lives may have been very different. They should therefore fight for what could have been and assert their rights as victims. But, uhh, I think I recognized him when I saw the MY PACE PV so, it has to be Ryuusei even though Ryuusei came later. Besides, my first memories of MY PACE are associated with dancing stuffed toys and all, so.... lalala~

I also have a hunch that he's this rich kid type who just ended up being an actor since he was scouted. He would have probably led a completely happy and successful life even if he didn't become an actor.

Of course, I am happier that he's an actor because now, I have someone to fangirl over.

I also saw him in Casshern and Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. And, as mentioned in a previous post, in Atashinchi no Danshi. I've also checked out RESCUE, but it hit me as a bit too dramatic and serious and pretty unrealistic. :( (Well, Atashinchi is unrealistic and has drama moments that are uberdramatic, but it's like COMEDY, so...)

So, it's only been dNeero lately and there's another dNeero I'm supposed to put up. But before that, I guess I should make a sort of proper entry.

This is a Japanese Live-Action show I've recently tried watching. I wouldn't call it special, but as I have recently learned the meaning of fangirling, it ends up being special anyway.

LALALALALA~

In this show, Horikita Maki is a poor homeless girl who is suddenly taken in as the wife of a very rich, kind-of-old man in exchange for him paying her 100M yen debt. Then after one month, the rich guy dies. So she is left to deal with his 6 sons and take upon the challenge of fulfilling the seemingly endlessly growing list of conditions in this scroll thingy contract she signed with the naivete unbelievably uncharacteristic of someone who has been looking out for herself in N years since her mother died and her jerk dad (who is actually the one who accumulated the 100M yen debt) left them.

tl;dr: kind of reverse harem story but she's like officially the mom, so wthlol. then again, it's kind of japan, so lolwth.

That prolly didn't make as much sense as I would've wanted it too, but then again, being that way, it just matches up with the mood of this show more. :D HAHA.

What if a Rhino rolled over you....?

Imagine three thousand kilograms of pure wild meat rolling over your body... That would be just crushingly terrible. Fortunately, humans are generally not in immediate danger of unpleasant physical contact with rhinos. Also, as far as I know, rhinos don't roll over...
However, there is a rhino that has been running amok and rolling over in the last decade. Instead of three thousand kilograms of meat, you’ll have a good amount of solid metal to worry about this time. I am talking about the ATV manufactured by Yamaha called the Rhino.
This Rhino has purportedly caused 46 deaths since 2003 and has most likely caused many more injuries than that. According to http://www.youhaverights.com/defective-products/yamaha-rhino, the Yamaha Rhino has a number of defects including:
• No doors on the passenger compartment
• No handholds inside the passenger compartment
• Narrow wheel base
• Small tires
• High center of gravity
The high center of gravity causes the Rhino to roll over in the event of very rough terrain. Because there is no door on the passenger side, when the vehicle topples, passenger then tends to try to keep the vehicle from toppling by sticking out his leg which only causes the passenger to have more grave injuries.
Just this year, Yamaha has actually recalled 120,000 units. However, this will not bring back the ones who have died and it will not erase both the emotional and physical scars these accidents have left on the victims.

Around 13 years after its release, I finally get to watch Baz Luhrmann's Romeo x Juliet.

Great movie. :D

However, as I am bad with movie reviews and all, I shall make this into a quote post. ^^,

This line here is what endeared the little Bean to softhearted lil me. Awwwwe. Etc.

Anyway, since I have a headache right now and am basically making this post for the reason spelled out by the permalink of this post, uhh... I don't really have much to say.

It was a very heart-wrenching line for me, and I'm not being sarcastic here. I do, in fact, have a heart, that can, in fact, be wrenched.

But, well, it was evident episodesss ago that the series was taking a fatal turn to the world of hopelessly convoluted storylines.

So if pink is so closely related to red, why are some of the reds in our country so against pink? (or, as one particularly witty friend of mine put it, “I read that the reds think pink stinks”). I am referring, of course, to a recent resolution filed by left-leaning lawmakers Satur Ocampo and Teodoro Casiño (both representatives of Bayan Muna), Gabriela Representatives Liza Maza and Luzviminda Ilagan, and Anakpawis Representative Rafael Mariano urging the House to investigate the use of Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) use of the color pink in building their road signs and structures. And yes, I am talking about that House, as in our country’s House of Representatives, where the Philippines’ best and brightest minds supposedly convene in order to enact meaningful laws. Apparently, the color wheel and its various applications are now a matter of great national importance. What’s next? Filing a motion to ban congressmen from taking the floor if their shoes and belt don’t match?

It's 3D cutey goodness~

This game, Luna Online, is, according to my possibly failing memory which based its knowledge about this somewhere on the internet, a Korean MMORPG. If I recall correctly, Ragnarok Online was Korean too, and so was the manhwa (thus, manhwa, right? La~lala~). Anyway, I just had to mention RO because, well, it was the first MMORPG I ever played and it was also the first one I was ever hooked on. I tried a bunch of other online games like gunbound and O2Jam, but I never got hooked on it like in RO. I also recently tried Secret of the Solstice, but I got tired after a bit too. I guess I only liked it because it reminded me of RO and it was free to play, yay! kinda... As for RO, I got tired of it after my friends disappeared from it one by one. I think I'm the type who likes MMORPGs when I'm playing it with people I actually know, like how I played Solstice mostly only when my brother or sister was around too. Yeah, yeah, so I'm bad at socializing in both real life and virtual life. What can I say? I'm consistent like that. :3
Also, I'm not really a gaming addict, so, it's not like I've played lotsa games, but I'm not a complete noob either. Just wanted to make that clear, lest I seem like I'm pretending to be a game god.
Moving on to the actual topic of this post as the title depicts...

General Impressions (Ramblings without Screenshots)
I don't really read up on games much until I get to play them for a bit. In fact, make that a lot. I usually just play through them first until I'm interested enough to go gather extra information, etc. However, as this game is still in Open Beta which includes some glitches like broken text (in my case), I think I may have to read up on some things soon, like how the system works, etc.
I've browsed the official website (If you're interested, go click my new flash clock with a dancing person-cat. It's better than putting a link here~ so cute! XD) though, and my brother read up a little on the classes, etc. Supposedly, this game has what they call a family system. I have no idea how that works, but, well, maybe you get together and decide that you're all one big family. Maybe it's a guild equivalent? As the site itself seems to be a Beta version as well (hello to lots of coming soons and broken links :D), there wasn't really much information in it. Another incomplete piece of info that caught my attention (the cute emoticons don't count, I think...) was the mention of some sort of farming system. I think you can own a farm and, well, do farming, and protect your farm from monsters and all that. Uhh, online Rune Factory? Not that I got to continue playing that game much. ~~Oh, my incomplete life~!~~ As for the jobs and all, first, there are two races to choose from: Elf and Human. After which, you can choose from one of three classes: Rogue, Fighter, and Mage. I have no idea if I got the names right, I can't quite remember. But, yeah, pretty much a sword type, a magic type, and a bow/dagger type. Not respectively, but easy to match. Matching type test, yay. According to my brother, it seems that as you move along, you have a number of choices for your jobs or something. If you choose, job A over job B for your first job under a certain class, you get the skills of job A, but not job B. So you can build yur skill tree depending on what job you choose, it seems. I kind of like that. :D I hope my statements made sense too. Not that it matters much, I guess. *shrug* This game also has a PVP/PK system. You can request other people to battle with you, it seems. On the character info window, the number of times you've killed a player is also listed. Well, actually, the number of monsters you've killed is also listed, it seems. I wonder what that's for... Anyway, moving on.
Basically, the only things I've done are make a player, try out a quest, and kill a couple of monsters, the last two being closely intertwined as the quest only involved killing monsters.
Let's go rewind to making a character then. :D
I have no screenshots for this part, but unlike Solstice and RO where you only get to choose hairstyle and hair color, in LO (hahaha), you get to choose the eyes/face. However, as anime-like-faces are 50-75% eyes, we can just assume it's the eyes you choose. The downside is you don't get to choose the hair color. But they might have a patch for that later, like the dyeing system of RO. Yes, please, I want! Ahem. Anyway... There are different sets of hair and eyes for the elven and human races. And I think that's all there is to place here~ It's already too long as it is.

Betaness (More Ramblings with one Screenshot)
I know it's still in Open Beta stage, and has only been so for less than a month, so I guess glitches are forgivable. There are only two problems I've had so far, both of them major, one of which I solved crudely, and the other I may attempt to solve (if it's even possible) or just learn to ignore.
The first one was a problem with the launcher that made us unable to play the game. Of course I tried to do something. I wanted the cute game!!!
Problem #1: Double-click launcher. Crash. Try again. Crash. Try again. Crash.
At this point, you know something's wrong, right? You had to press "Don't Send" 3 times, after all. Anyway, it seemed other people were having problems too, so we looked it up. Some person said it was that webpage like area of the launcher that's making it crash. That area where the news and stuff are, etc. This person's solution was even cruder than mine which involved some kind of bandwidth stealing through downloads and stuff and a race with the launcher webpage area or something like that. No offense meant, but the English was rather hard to understand.
But all thanks to that person, I knew the cause and used the windows HOSTS file so that the webpage area won't load anything. :D However, as the website it accesses is the official website, you can't access that while launching. Though I don't see any reason why you'd want to... Anyway, when you want to access the site again, you'll have to re-edit the HOSTS file and all, so it's a bit of extra work, I think. Not that I mind.
Problem #2: Text gets cut off everywhere.
Not that bad, but it looks bad. Most stuff still make sense though, but it does make me not want to read through stuff in-game because all the text is kind of messed up. Also, I can't see the freakin' item information properly!! Grr. Sigh. I have yet to find out what causes this and if there is a solution out there somewhere.
Other Betaness stuff would be... Hmm... I find the interface a little messy, but that's probably because I played the game in 800x600 mode, and the screen was just too small.

Unlike solstice, this game has no widescreen mode, so that's sad. :( It also seemed to me like if you open a window using the mouse, you can close it by clicking the X button, however opening a window through the keyboard requires that you close it with that key as well. Uhh. Weird. But I'm not entirely sure about this. Maybe I'll try again......

CUTE CHARACTERS!!! And from the videos, it seems the gears and equips are cute too~~!!!! Waaaaaai~ Something like that. After all, the reason I started playing this game was because I thought it was sooo cute.

Anyway, I haven't really met that many monsters yet, so it may just be that I have yet to meet the female monster race. Lalala~

General graphics impressions would point to okay, and possibly quite good, actually. I haven't played an extensive array of online games, so I'm not really qualified in this area, and I also played it at low resolution and possibly at low settings, I dunno if I actually changed the options? The broken text and everything was frustrating me, haha. I just played this 'til I was level 5, which wasn't much.
From what I saw on the videos though, and my short adventure, character movement is rather good, in my ~~possibly very limited~~ opinion. I love it when hair moves. :D (Hello, some-CG-show-I-watched-before-something-with-a-name-and-impenetrable-fortress-in-the-title-or-something-I-forget-lalala, hair moves, it's not stiff. Well. Normally.)

The drawings of the NPCs when you talk to them looked really good to me. :D Also, they're very animated when they talk to you and all. :D Which is just cute~ I guess the best part of this game for now would be the characters. :D So cute! The anime-style semi-chibi type of chars are just the cutest!!! I love semi-chibi~~ Lucky Star is soooo cute toooo~! XD XD Well, the NPCs aren't semi-chibi, but they're animated and come with very nice drawings, imo. :D

Ga-Rei Zero: Cute In-Battle Facial Expressions?

Let me talk about an anime I actually like this time. :D
Not that I don't like Gundam 00, but, I like it for different reasons (which are prolly not the reasons the creators want fans like me to like it for though it's not like I don't like it for any of the reasons they want fans to like it for, but in the end, I don't really know what's in their heads, so, lalala.), but that's really just part of its charm, I guess~
However, this won't be a post talking about how awesome the anime is. I will talk about how awesome the censorship for this show is.

WARNING: Do not read if you're part of the age bracket that's the target of this censorship thing. I know this is useless for various reasons (one of them being the fact that no one's likely to come across this place other than people I know, etc), but, yeah, like Ga-Rei Zero censorship, I do this for the sake of it.

get through (and many others though I already deleted the past episodes). I know that it would be weird to put this big gaping gray circle smack on Yomi's face (and while they're at it, maybe they can put an XD face this time :D), but the thing is... Isn't the censorship useless in the end?
In fact, the fact that you put a big gray circle screaming "Heeeey~ I'm hiding something here~ How mysterious~ Must be something pretty violent, OMGOMG! " makes censorship, uhh... also useless in a certain way.
Maybe this is a case of just-doing-it-for-the-sake-of-following-the-system/rules/etc. Thus, the pretty HQ censorship method. The first episode censorship was actually a lot better, though.
Also, since I haven't actually seen the uncensored version of the above scene, I can't actually tell what's beneath the gray circle. Maybe it's just my lack of imagination due to not watching enough episodes of Barney when I was a little kid, but I don't really see anything that could be worse than the blood spraying beyond the gray circle being underneath the gray circle of censorship. She just pierced him, right? It's a freaking sword piercing a guy and they censor the piercing but leave the horizontal blood fountain. COOL. YEAH.
Unless they showed his beating heart being pierced which would be.. erm.. just weird and wrong in various ways, but well, I guess anime being the way it is, maybe it's actually possible.
But yeah. ALL HAIL GRAY CIRCLES OF CENSORSHIP! o/
The first volume of the DVD has already been released, but the last volume release date is still far away, in the merry month of may~ So I guess I'll just wait 'til all the DVDs have been released before getting DVD rips.
And with that, I guess I won't be seeing the uncensored versions anytime soon.

Santa is a Techy Guy

So, I'm now 21 and I figured that I've missed half of my life because I never got to try those sitting on Santa's lap stuff. I then decided to set out to correct this.
Unfortunately, I'm already 21 and though I don't believe it's too late to sit on Santa's lap when you're 21, I'm sure my beliefs would clash with those of the greater portion of this world. While I could pass off as a 14 year old, or even a 12 year old (Hi Matrix Reloaded ticket person, thanks again for doubting my age~), I think I'd still receive a bunch of stares in the process of trying to regain half of my life, and as I dislike getting stared at with a passion, this would also go against the idea of sitting on Santa's lap in a mall, etc. If, by some strange workings of fate and destiny, I am not stared at, that only means I passed off as an elementary kid, and being 21 and all, somehow, I just don't know how to feel about that.
So, what to do? Turn to the internet for salvation!
And sure enough,I found Santa waiting for half-grown kids like me to sit on his lap and make a Christmas wish on the internet!!! (He's over here: got a wish ^^,)

I recently downloaded DVD rips of Code Geass S1. I ended up double-clicking one of the episodes. I ended up noticing the following screens.

Well, I don't remember so much written Engrish on Geass anyway. If there were such cases, they probably weren't so bad. I'm not counting spelling errors here, so, that's that. Spoken Engrish would be another matter though.
I know that the shots lasted only for a few seconds so they didn't have to exert too much effort in those mags, but if that were real, it's kind of weird that it was the exact same article~

Lulu and Zero

Well, not Zero in Geass but in Vampire Knight.
Last season, it seemed to me as if there was too much Lulu.
Hmm.. who were they again... [1]Lelouch, of course, from Code Geass R2, [2]Luca from Macross F, [3]Kei from Special A, and [4]Aidou from Vampire Knight.
This time around, I seem to have encountered too much Zero. He's, well, still [1]Zero in Vampire Knight Guilty (which I haven't touched yet), [2]Sho from Skip Beat (he sounds bad here, imo), [3]Setsuna from Gundam 00 S2, [4]Kuro from Kurozuka, and [5]Ulysses from Hakushaku to Yousei (this was originally not part of the list since he hasn't spoken much yet at that time, ahahaha).
They both have rather unique voices, so it's kind of easy to spot them. Though the first time I recognized Lulu with that kid-style voice is for Luca of Macross, despite having watched La Corda d'Oro before, hehe.
Just for the sake of it, I'll try counting Lulu's roles for this season too, and Zero's roles for last season...
For last season's Zero, he was [1]Zero from Vampire Knight, and [2]Kyrie from World Destruction. That's about it, I think?
As for Lulu's roles this season, he's [1]Kai from Switch, [2]Grell from Kuroshitsuji (I dunno if this character's still coming back though), and [3]Aidou in Vampire Knight Guilty.\
Of course, these are only for the ones I've watched. :D
As for female Seiyuu's, well, I suppose Kugimiya Rie and Horie Yui?

Soooo saaaaad, I weeeep, I weeeep. Yeah right.
All I really see is: "No more TV, then I'll now take up babysitting to keep me occupied."
Hey Marina, what are you for, really? Even Nunnally was more useful than you, even before those last few Geass episodes. At least Nunnally was the object of an unperturbable siscon, etc. Somehow Marina is just as good as someone walking around with the label "I'm Setsuna's love teammate. Ijou desuuuu~ ♥".
Well, whatever, she still has 15 episodes ~~of more babysitting, pointless and untouching drama speeches about let's not fight because fighting will do us no good, and TV watching :D~~ to, possibly, somehow develop into a real character.

So this episode, a fight between Tieria-Setsuna combo and SayCheez does occur.

They go 2 vs 1.

Then goes the 2 sent flying by 1.
Basically, two Ce[le]stial Being (see below) Gundams are overpowered by SayCheez. He must be one helluva pilot then! So cool.
You know, not that this doesn't happen all the time in shows. Bad guy is super awesome, unbeatable, better, hell yeah! Then at the end, they just lose for the sake of world peace. o_o
Well, at least Lockon died against Saycheez last season, but, weh, he's "back" anyway, isn't he? Lalala~
Unfortunately, it's too early in the series to have a fight-to-the-death type of match. Unlike Gurren Lagann where they kill off Kamina and all his fun lines, poses, etc ;_; in episode 8, Sunrise is too chicken to kill off Tieria or Setsuna in episode 9. The best they could manage is killing a character with a 100% identical twin in S1 episode 23.

Honestly though, I just wanted to pick on the killing stuff because I want to mention that right before SayCheez finishes them off, their friendly friends arrive just in the nick of time to rescue them. :D Saycheez thinks he's screwed with 4-vs-1 so he leaves. :( Tieria being such an undecided (Setsuna? Lockon?) faggot tries to chase Saycheez because he's soo gay for Lockon#1 and wants revenge and is, most importantly, still feeling gay enough after all that time partying in a red dress. :D
Alternatively, we could view Tieria's reaction as a demonstration of his thirst for revenge resulting from the excruciating pain he still feels over the loss of an irreplaceable friend, an understanding comrade, and a kind older brother figure.
As this is anime, I'm sure the latter is true. Definitely 100%.

Hakushaku to Yousei 04: Lame Geass

-The fight scene which lasted throughout the whole OP song. I mean, the big bad black wolf got scawed when he taw Raven's green Geass... so... uhh... Purpose please? For Raven fangirls to go kyaaaaa~ XD at him while he was "fighting"? "Fighting" with quotation marks because... uhh... The whole OP song-long fight was composed of scenes like that... Useless flashy moves and uber-dramatic slowmo scenes that don't actually show any real fighting moves but just show Raven's cooooool fighting poses. Scenes like that would make great wallpapers, but not a great fight scene. Spinzaku is 9000+ times better~ Nyahaha~

In fact, I think the only reason I watch this anime is because of pretty drawings. It's not especially funny, and the story is kind of messy, and it doesn't even have the overall animation+art anime quality as a saving grace which is the only reason I forgive Index. Well, the concept of Index's story is actually good, I think. It's the character and plot development that it fails in, and terribly so too. However, Hakushaku to Yousei does better on character development, I think, since I don't really go "huh, whaat" at the interactions between the characters. Well, a little, I guess, but not as much as in Index~
Well, since it IS shoujo, I guess it has pretty drawings to attract girls. Petra is right. It's funny how you know that a certain something is there to manipulate you, and yet it still works. o_O Humans are such strange beings.
It's fun to note, however, that the staff of the fansub group working on this series are all males. :D

Kurozuka 03: The New Matrix

The wasted world

The ship just made me think of Matrix. I might be pushing the comparison, but this ship is also used to look for people and kill them. :D Though, unlike squids, they are manned, so they can be thought of as a cross between a squid and a hovercraft, I guess? And I guess this isn't really an accurate description since it seems that the all the killing is only done to find some guy who is... **SURPRISE~!!** ...the main protagonist of our show.

He's some immortal vampire-like creature though... And he's also supposedly a famous general in Japan history or something. This is actually Kurozuka's story. It's some what-if fantasy story about some guy named Minamoto no Yoshitsune~ Well, Ureshii has supplementary PDFs, so if you're interested to know more, head over to their site, else, go wiki mode. :D
Alternatively, anidb gives some introductory information on the story.
With all these historical blahs, I guess they put this

to match the theme of the show or something? But, well, I don't really know since we just jumped from past past to future future. o_o So was it an attempt to make the transition seamless? :)) Not very effective, lol~

Anyway, I would just like to take this opportunity to mention that Kurozuka is a really good anime, in the objective sense. :D Great animation, great direction, and while the character design isn't exactly my type, it fits the theme of the show. Other than the characters, I think the art is great too. :D Though, Casshern art is prettier, imo.
It seems that all anime by MADHOUSE this season exhibit great quality. :D I don't remember all of the anime I've watched which were by MADHOUSE, but the few I remember were also great~

But me being me, the shows I enjoy the most this season are actually G00 and Kuroshit. Nyahaha.

Ryuusei no Kizuna

Hey, I'm supposed to be a fan of this guy. :D
And actually, I think I am, to a certain extent, hahaha.

Well, it all started one day when a friend of mine decided that since she's a Yamapi fan, and another friend is a fan of Ikuta Toma, who seems to be friends with Yamapi, I should become a fan of some Japanese Actor/Singer/Blah as well. I remember her assigning MatsuJun to me, but, uhh, I just don't like MatsuJun. -_-
Sooooo, I dunno if this event was before or after the MatsuJun assignment, but I remember Yamapi fan showed me the latest video of the Yamapi's group NewS at that time which was Weeeek (dunno how many 'e's there are, supposedly, please don't kill me), and I mentioned something like.. Ehh, the other guy's actually more good looking and has a nicer singing voice, imo. It all started from that time. I have been tasked to be Nishikido Ryou's fan. Not that I hated him, so I was fine with being labeled so.
And after that, I actually went around to look at stuff about this guy... I found a site which translates his journal entries in his official blog thingy (Erebuns are really into this, from what I've observed, please correct me if I'm wrong~). So, I found him slightly interesting, in the sense that... Uhh... He was kind of weird. My Yamapi fan friend also always showed me videos, interviews, etc with Ryo-chan (as he's more popularly called in the internet, from what I've observed) in it, and well, I guess all in all, he's okay.
But I think what really made me decide to somewhat be a fan of this guy is...

HIS KID PICTURES.
HE WAS SUCH A CUTE KID~~~ XD
I mean, loooooook, that's a realllllllly cute kid up there, isn't he? It's just undeniable, I swear, HAHAHAHA.
Another thing would probably be that he was incredibly short up 'til... he was... I dunno what age, but he was really short til his teens, I think. To show this shortness, lemme show you a picture of him and Yamapi, who's actually younger than him by a couple of months...

Anyway, so, since I decided to become a fan of Ryo-chan (well, kind of), I read the TL of his journal regularly for about a month or two... then I just kind of forgot? Ahaha.
The thing is, for one, I'm not really a fan of NEWS, though I did kind of like Weeeek and its video (the video was really fun :D~).
But, just to keep being a fan of Ryo-chan to a certain extent, I've decided to check out each new drama he has appeared in since then, and even some from before I actually decided to become a sort-of-fan. I think he acts pretty well, actually. When I watched him in a couple of episodes of Last Friends (I didn't get to continue this, but I guess I will, some other time...), he could become quite scary, as far as I can remember. It could be the directing, but of course, his acting contributed. :D
Ironically though, one of my favorite Live-Action series has Yamapi in it instead of him, hahaha. But Proposal Daisakusen was just really nice. :D
Ironically too, I think it's actually Tegoshi who has the nicest singing voice in NewS. Hahaha~
So, that should be that about Ryo-chan. ^___^
And I can say that I'm moderately a fan of this guy with around 30% effort put into being so. :D

So, going back to the title, I decided to watch Ryuusei no Kizuna because it has Ryo-chan in it, yay~
Plus, the story seemed kind of interesting. :D
So, there were three siblings whose parents were killed one night while the three of them were out to watch a meteor shower. Many years pass, and they're all quite grown-up now, trying to make their way into the world. :D We also have scenes showing them swearing to find their parents' killer and kill him. Unfortunately, it seems that they shall encounter a couple of problems related to their sister's erm... family... erm... situation. I dunno if it's a spoiler, but it's better not to put it here anyway.
So, after two episodes, the story hasnt moved so much yet, and we mostly only have funny scenes and flashbacks that tell us about the siblings' personalities, their family ties, etc. More like introductory stuff and entertainment. :D Which isn't bad at all. ^^,
From last episode's preview, it also seems that more will happen in episode three, I think.... I could be mistaken since the preview wasn't TLd and I didn't bother listening...
Anyway, I'll just put up a couple of highlights from the first two episodes. :D

Also, this is the first time, I think, for the Japanese version that they showed her friend. I watched the first two episodes of the Taiwanese version, if I remember right... Maybe I should finish that. The Nakatsu in the Taiwanese version was less energetic, but the Mizuki was definitely more alive~ Hahahaha~
Not that Horikita Maki was bad at her role... I just think that she would've been better at a quiet, less energetic male role like Haruhi of Ouran Kokou Hosuto Bu...
Hmm... I do remember that there were rumours of a live-action being made going around, but I never found out if they were confirmed. There was even a cast being posted in some places, though, honestly, I didn't think they fit the characters. I'm hoping they'd choose better-fitting actors~ Sigh.

Aside from the 2-hr special, I also only recently watched the 1-hr live thingy before the Final episode airing of Hana Kimi. :D

There were two contests. The first is some modifed Janken where the winner tries to hit the loser with a paper fan and the loser tries to protect himself with a metal basin. Unfortunately...

one loser used the paper fan for protection instead~ XD
So, there you have it. That's why they invented shields. :D
The next game was a cosplay game~

Actually, I can't really relate much since I don't know the other two chars, I only know Ayanami Rei from Eva... and... that is one weird Ayanami Tennouji has there~ Hahaha. They even played Eva OP when he came in walking like some.... Ape? Hahaha. I dunno what he was trying to be. :))

Which was a giant pink ball that goes kaboom with its target when it hits it. ~~Perhaps much like chewing two giant Bazooka™ gums, bubbling up, and having it burst on the enemy... albeit less messy.~~

Maybe if she had pink or cloud-shaped hair, she'd be more effective. She also fails in the talent portion. No songs, no dances, no amazing cooking skills whatsoever.

But the Automatons ARE worse in that they have to go and scare all those people like that first, making them desperately scurry away for their lives like little mice, and then killing them like pesky rats.
However, at least the chances of survival is actually bigger with the Automatons, so long as you have Celestial Being to come to your rescue after a few minutes of bloodbath. They go power-up mode at the sight of such inhumane actions too. :D
Which makes me think... Why does A-LOLS use automatons? o_o I don't think they're interested in Cataron's equipment, etc... Perhaps to find more data on Cataron like their other branches' bases, etc? But, well, what guarantee do they have that the Automatons won't destroy the computers while chasing around and gunning humans in fearful panic like crazy? Also, it seems the Automatons are rather slow at their job, all things considered, so the Cataron people have all the time before their deaths under the gunfire of unthinking killing machines to erase the data, or destroy the computers entirely, burn all hardcopies, etc. The killing of the members who might squeal out information would be done by the Automatons too.
So, uhh, why Automatons?

Another observation is actually... While both series are by Sunrise, it's fun to note that Geass loves colorfulllll screens, sometimes even with cute animals on it, while in G00ey, they love B&W. :D

In fact, I don't actually know if that's just for lulz and all, so, lalalala~
It IS funny though... "Eh... Hehehe."
As for me though, I think I will only like this series more and more as it progresses. :D Spunky kid and freaky butler combo just really wins me. Hahahaha.

This episode, once again, demonstrates just how Sebastian is the best butler around.
Bocchan was kidnapped by some stupid, absolutely unlikeable antagonists which gives us the idea that this, of course, is just another one-episode long substory.
Anyway, the gnatagonists sent Sebastian a letter and we find out that they're not so bad in English (use of "return" only?). :D

But as this series is actually set in England, these people ARE supposed to be good in english. However, as another series set in England has shown us, should and would build no bridges indeed.

Of course Sebastian being the loyal ~~lobster~~ akumade butler that he is, he goes to rescue his young master ~~Ariel~~ Ciel immediately.
A while after Sebastian's departure, the other ~~useless and only around for comic relief~~ Phantomhive household attendants are faced by an infinitely baffling mystery which is

the disappearance of the precious silverware.
Hm.. Hmm... Where could the pretty, shiny, pointy, sharp-y silverware have gone to???
Of course, Sebastian knows. :D

So now, we know that aside from making wonderful tea and *baking* live guests, Bastie is also good at playing dart using silverware. Man, his skill count just keeps on increasing~~ I want an akumade butler too!! Nyahahahahaha~
He even does an acroBAT pose after his silverware adventures to entertain us~

Side note: I don't know if they actually said "Gyuu TONGUE" or "Gyuu-tan" or something else that sounds like that. I don't really trust Chihiro's subs all that much this time though, since there seemed to be a couple of awkward lines and I think I noticed one outright TL booboo. It wasn't really important though, I think... But, considering my ultra super poor Japanese Language knowledge, I may have missed important stuff. Lalala~ :3
Anyway, of course, in the end, they had no choice but to tune Silver.

Since I decided to do two entries I've been meaning to do for a few days now tonight, I better get a move on.

Vampire Knight

Visuals sucked big time. I've decided that it isn't really just because the manga was so much prettier. The animation kind of sucked too. BIGGG LOL at Ichiru vs. Zero fencing whatever that looked like kid's play lalala whatever~
I forgot what ep it was since I pretty much marathoned the A-Kraze releases. Hmm.. I wonder if they'll be doing S2. I'll just marathon their releases again, if ever~
All in all, I guess the anime does have somewhat good points. The story flow is a bit clearer, but that should be expected out of something that actually moves and all, I guess~ Plus, I dunno how reliable the scanlations are.... BUT, I still think that part of it was kind of good.... Though the anime really borders on boring. But boring != disorganized storytelling. And, really, it wasn't disorganized, I'll give it that. Plus the voices were okay, they fit the characters as I imagined them. :D
Since VK is actually a serious story, I guess I couldn't expect the anime to be lively and all. But I really think this is an example of wasted starting material, since I really think the manga had more potential, it could've been a better anime. If you ask me how though, I dunno. I just watch anime, I don't make them~ *shrug*
That's the job of anime-makers~ Lalala.
With all my incoherent babble, VK wasn't very good. That pretty much sums it up.

Nabari no Ou

Uhh. Hmm.
How do I put it in words. I don't hate this anime. I don't like it either.
Objectively speaking, it prolly sucked, HAHA.
But, I guess I'm a sucker for this type of drama, BUT WAIT. DON'T GET ME WRONG. It's the concept, that I like. The anime failed me in presenting it.
But NOT really really, since I think it's just a characteristic of this anime...
This anime is what I'd call clumsy. Like how a person can be clumsy with showing his/her feelings or something. But, well, reality is also clumsy, right? But it's a show, so I guess that isn't an excuse? I dunno.. Haha.
How to say this... Hmmm.. I think anime, etc are unrealistic to a certain extent because they, are, well, shows. They're there to entertain you.
In a ninja show like this one, for example, it's kind of a first for me to see the protagonist's Dad running away like a coward from the pursuers. It was also rather surprising for the main antagonist to go blooper mode in his attempt to sway Yoite, which, uhh, cost him his life. o_o So he died because of a blooper. OKAY, sure~
Looking at it though, it really could happen in reality~ And people are cowards by default, right? That's the passive path; the active path is when you face ninja pursuers when you yourself don't have any special abilities, whatsoever. If this was Naruto, I bet the Dad would've died fighting or something.
Because of that darkness in it, and I loev that kind of darkness, it doesn't get a low rating from me. :D
Despite its shortcomings, I'm glad I watched this anime. Plus, I loved the songs~ ^___^
Also... "Eh... Hehehe." made me go HAHAHA. But they weren't really aiming for quality subs, so s'okay. :D And it made me laugh a lil. :D

Natsume Yuujinchou

This is definitely one of my top ones for last season. It's not the exciting, cool, super funny or freaky type, which kind of makes it a suprise (lala? surprise!!) that I really, really liked it. But, I DID.
So there was this guy who can see ayakashi, etc. He wasn't believed by 99.9% of the rest of the population, and thus he suffered being isolated from his fellow humans, etc. Seems to be a kind of cliche plot, right? Wrong?
In any case, no matter how cliche, if it's cliche at all, this anime still had a way to be so lightly nice. :D
And it always just said things I wanted to hear~
Well, all in all, this series is not something I would call "awesome~" "great~", etc. The word I would really have to use with it is nice~~~ Light, and heartwarming. :D
I'm so looking forward to the next season~ ^^,

Macross Frontier

I really liked the songs!!! ^___________^
And mostly, the visuals were great. ^^,
The story was also nice enough before the last episode.
That is, I DIDN'T LIKE THE ENDING. WTH, concert ending!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I mean, yeah, I'm a noob at Macross, maybe that's like normal, but... really. o_o
It's like, okay, let's just end this with Sheryl Ranka duet medley and nice visuals. I guess that's not bad, maybe macross isn't really one for a deeper story or something. Or maybe I equate deep with heavy? But no I don't! Because I liked Natsume Yuujinchou a lot~
And even the love story part ended in a "huh? what? back to start??" way. Hmm, now that I think about it, maybe I don't really think the ending is that bad. I really just had to go O_O at Alto's "You're both my wings~" line. Oh, shut up, geisha princess faggot. I hate Alto. DX
I found out there was a movie before watching the end of Macross. Now, after watching the end of Macross F, I'd say that the movie will be a an everyday life love comedy where Alto meets more girls in school which he can add to his harem. :D This love comedy ends with the harem ending too, and Alto's new line would be "You're all my wonderful feathers~ *smile*". Feathers, because there are more, and Alto has a limited supply of love, so, also feathers because they're smaller. ^^,
BUT, it seems like it won't be a sequel, but a retelling. AWW, man, where's my rabu rabu comedy with shining Alto love dialogues??? SHEESH, if you're gonna do harem, do it all the way. I DEMAND FEATHERS!!!! o_O And there goes my sanity~ HAHAHAHA!!!
Well, anyway, I still liked Macross enough. :D

Soo, basically, this is actually supposed to be a post about the Fall anime I've decided to watch.
I'll divide them into 3 groups: Definitely will not be dropped, Prolly won't be dropped, and who knows~might get dropped ones. But the fact that I've decided to watch them, I prolly won't drop them anyway... It just might end up that I won't really remember them so well after this season, that it would be as good as if I had dropped them in the first place... But who really knows? :P

Clannad ~After Story~

Well, it's an S2~ And I really liked the first one, except for the pure Nagisa arc part. And the ending..... DX DX [decided to use this since blogger will think of the appropriate smiley as html tags again.. or something. If you can't see the smiley.. er.. not enough imagination, go level up or something.]
Anyway, second season seems great, like before~ I really like Clannad, hahaha.
At first I didn't like the OP though, but I guess it's that kind of song you start liking after hearing it a few more times. The OP is also by Lia who sung Air OP and ED and, well, just that is definitely a plus~~ Hahaha.

Reason: They were my sub of choice for last season. Haven't actually checked out BSS-gg/gSS, maybe I will later, since it's sitting here untouched anyway. But I think I shall stick to Menclave anyway. Mostly for the reason of S1-S2 consistency. Ahaha. A few observations on current Menclave encodes though. IF I remember right, last season's release were ~343mb encodes. This season's encodes are ~375mb. But I dunno if it's just me...... I think their S1 encodes were better or something. But I don't really remember that clearly, and I'm not about to dig into my archives just for that. Also like last season's karaoke more~ I'm a neutral when it comes to softsubbed vs. AFX vs. no karaoke. The OP colors were just a bit off.. The green was actually okay, they should've just kept it green, the changing colors didn't really help. As for the ED--just WRONG. The exit was cool, but apart from that, the karaoke just didn't fit, or maybe they didn't fit together or what. But it's not THAT bad. I just really liked S1's kara, I guess~

Ga-Rei Zero

At first I thought this was another action blah anime (which I don't hate btw), so lalala. Then in comes girl who fights with a motorcycle. I'm like "COOOOOL. I'm so gonna watch this series just for the sheer coolness of motorcycle fighting!!". Then she died. o_O AND SO DID THE REST OF THE CAST. wthwtfwtwtwtwwww. o_O
And of course, because of that, I've decided to watch the second episode. And this time, I think I really like the series now, hahahaha. I also checked out the first volume of the manga. I didn't read it, I just scanned through it. And it now makes a little sense, this anime is actually the prequel of the manga. Ahaha. Well, in any case, I like it. Gun-sword weapon was cool too. YEAH.

Fansub choice: ~~Currently deciding between sMi and~~ Aniyoshi.
Reason: sMi is HD, and Aniyoshi isn't, but I thought Aniyoshi video qual was better anyway, soo... ~~I haven't really tried comparing the TL and all yet, so lalala.~~
After comparing the TL for the first few lines where I could hardly hear the dialogue since it was a convo via radio, I got lazy and went to anidb. HAHAHA.
*(Btw, this gives us an idea of the level of my jap knowledge. I base things mostly on context, anime,etc-watching experience, some very very basic jap knowledge, and JWPCE. Therefore, I will only spot major errors, and that could even be wrong. Hahaha. But I do compare my impressions with anidb people's, so, I guess it should be okay~)*
But my initial impression WAS supported by anidb though. AniYoshi TL was generally better. On video quality, I still stay with my assessment that AniYoshi is better even though I'm actually one for more.. er.. vivid(?) colors. sMi's video had brighter colors, and AniYoshi's was a bit dull in that department, but sMi's video loses detail because of that (same case as Rumi's NnO). But sMi vid exhibited excessive banding. That and.. I dunno what to call the other stuff I see, but I don't like it. :D Although I don't remember seeing this much banding in Rumi, I actually don't really remember.. so.. lala? In any case, I'm supposed to be talking about AniYoshi vs. sMi for Ga-Rei.. so.. it doesn't matter what Rumi's encode was like. Their encodes are both ~232mb with AniYoshi's in 480p and sMi in 720p. I guess that's why AniYoshi had better quality huh? Well, as far as I can remember though, Ga-Rei doesn't really need HD, imo. And just because I feel like typing even more useless stuff, what exactly do I mean when an anime needs HD? It's when the art is so detailed, there's a possibility of not seeing that in SD. Hmm.. one good example would be TotA, I think... Casshern would also be one because of all those flying stuff when Casshern is ripping robots apart~ :D But this is based purely on my subjective judgement, of course~
LAST THING: Didn't like sMi's font. I thought AniYoshi's fit the show's mood better. Also, I don't mind the notes. :D I do mind subbers putting in "Eh.. Hehehe." in their subs though. WTH. o_O What am I talking about? I'll prolly put it up on this blog sometime. :D

Actually, I don't like this one all that much. It's a game adaptation, so it certainly has that gamey feel, for one.

Reason: I don't remember. I think I watched two other fansub versions and found that gg TLs were better and though I found their video a little bit off color-wise, it wasn't really that much of a big deal. Another reason would prolly be my tendency to stick with a group I've already come to... er... trust. Haha.. I don't think I really checked out the other groups that much. I watched Weib for the first ep since they released first, and their subs were kind of bad, haha. TS wasn't bad, neither was TL. It was the editing, I guess? Or maybe that's just how they do it--lack of punctuation. Hmm.. Oh well~

This is a rather serious story about robots receiving the curse of death because, supposedly, of Casshern who looks like Rockman. I swear he does.

ANIMATION IS SUPERB.
OP and ED are GREAT.
So even though the story is *almost* boring (because it isn't really boring, just almost), I will still watch it for the great animation and possibly good story. :D

Fansub choice: Shinsen-Subs
Reason: For this one, I actually did compare Shinsen with another release. I think it was Anonymous, or something. I didn't bother getting the other release with a really small file size, because, uhhh... All the great animation would be wasted if this isn't watched in either HD, or at least decent quality SD.
Anyway, the other release had a number of TL errors, as far as I can tell, so definitely Shinsen for this one. Actually, it's a rather good Shinsen release, and it's completely softsubbed--something I've never seen Shinsen do before this one. Haha. Well... so that's that.

Yozakura Quartet

I loved the OP.
It's another one of those anime with supernatural powers and Youkai and stuff~
But it seems interesting enough. I didn't find it like, special special, but I did like it enough, so, I'm watching it. :D

Fansub Choice: Aone ~~or AnimeYoshi~~
Reason: ~~Haven't compared them yet but both seem to be okay, so that's why I would need to compare. But~~ I think I'll be going for Chihiro for weekly watching, since ~~AniYoshi and~~ Aone ~~are~~ is rather slow and Chihiro isn't bad. :D Why Aone? Actually, as far as I can tell, TL/edit qual are really close... I'm just going for Aone because they didn't TL youkai to demon, etc. AND, well, Aone is supposedly a quality group. Hehe. They also rate higher on anidb. :D

Kurozuka

Talk about bloodworks. I wonder why they went and censored Ga-Rei and left this as is. Timeslot maybe? Oh well, who knows, too lazy to actually go and check.
Anyway, this is another serious anime. But the story interests me, so I think I'll keep on watching it. It might just be great though, and the animation is great.
The only thing I really have against anime like these is that... Well, I do like FUN~~ :))

Fansub Choice: ~~PENDING~~ Ureshii
Reason: The one I watched sucked. It was by Shinsen. Well, TL and all was okay, I guess, but the video was really bad, so I'll try and see if there are better ones, since this is an anime that, in my opinion, should be watched in HD or decent SD if possible. The quality of the anime goes to waste, otherwise. And I'm not talking about the gore, just to make it clear, since I may have implied with my other babbles that I enjoy gore. And for the record, I don't like sick, pointless gore. :P
From here on are comments after checking out sMi's and Ureshii's releases. Why Ureshii? I like the effort they put into editing it. HAHA. And the supplemental pdf.:D Also, once again, sMi's video seems to have a problem. Aside from lack of detail (what I mean is some of the detail seem to be smudged/blurred or something), it seems to have been overcropped and resized back to 720p...I think...since the proportions of the stuff were better in Ureshii's release, imo. Soo, that's that. :D

Of course not~ Actually, only the characters' appearances are quite similar. Only this time, Aono is the "stranger/surprise girlfriend" and Matsuri is the sister. Actually, the sister isn't really that similar to Matsuri, but well, they both have long hair and the stranger and the guy are similar enough to Aono and Yorito. Haha.
It's another cliche setting, I guess, but it isn't bad. And I do welcome fun. :D

Because I just marathon-ed the manga up 'til the latest chapter I could find.. HAHAHA. So now, I think it's fine to watch the anime. :D

Reason: I "trust" Ureshii and I'm not really gonna go out of my way for this one since I don't like the anime that much anyway. :'( REALLY love the manga though, WAH. :(( But, again, I think I'll go with Chihiro for weekly watching, unless Ureshii-Yoroshiku picks up speed.

Michiko to Hatchiin

It's OK. Nothing special, imo. But not much really happened in the first episode, so I guess I can't really judge yet. :D
Could be good though, so I'm sticking around to find out.
I'm not really fond of lyric-less OPs/EDs, but the OP vide for this was so colorful, it was kind of okay. :)

A bit of the usual japanese overdrama, imo, but HEY, I don't think I've seen any sports anime that had no overdrama in it~ Hahaha. I miss sports anime, and this seems interesting enough, so I'll be watching, even though I don't really know much about baseball. ^^,

~My experience related to baseball is zero, though I had softball for P.E. before... But that could hardly count, especially if you count in the fact that I had a sprained knee for about 60%-70% of the meetings. And guess what? That sprained knee wasn't even because of PE. o_o So I was stuck pitching all the time since I couldn't run, lalala. Our class wasn't really especially good anyway, but they were nice people, haha. Fun thing is, we still won the exam match against another class because, OMG, the pitcher sucked big time. We got lotsa balls~ HAHAHA. WALK POWER!!!)

I've decided to go watch and delete mode this season. This means I will only be keeping one episode at a time of each series on my HDD for most anime. Once I get to reformat the PC, I'll have more storage so I'll probably be dumping more episodes of my more preferred series there for... well... Just because I like having the episodes around for no reason. Nyahaha.
More likely though, I'll be dumping stuff like modified releases in it because they would probably (dunno, never tried before) be harder to download (slower, no seeds, etc) when the season has already ended.

Summer 2008 End (Part 1)

Sooo, I've just decided that I WILL really take this obsessing-over-Lulu business seriously. :D
I think I'm doing a good job. ^^,
But I think I really just wanted a reason to post this hilarious pic~

But then again, just for the sake of it, I'll try to start all of my anime posts from now on with pictures of Lulu~

I don't think I'll succeed though.
So much for that!!

There were a number of anime in my watch list that that have finished airing last season: Code Geass R2, Vampire Knight, Nabari no Ou, Special A, Itazura na Kiss, World Destruction, Natsume Yuujinchou, and Macross Frontier.

This post will detail my thoughts on them after watching the whole thing... IF applicable. (THAT's why it's part 1. :P)

Code Geass R2

I think I've rambled about this anime enough~

Vampire Knight

I decided to wait for Ani-Kraze releases, since I didn't really like the anime adaptation much anyway. But, after watching episode 09 after a long time of not having seen the anime, I kinda' thought it wasn't as bad as I first thought it was. I was just too into the manga. Oh well~ I still think it's not the best output that Japan could've given me. Tsk tsk, Japan, tsk tsk. :P

Nabari no Ou

Subs aren't done yet.

Special A

This was a so-so series for me. It was overly colorful and funny, though, so I still enjoyed it! It was somewhat different from the manga, and for these kinds, I usually like the manga more. And yeah, I did like the manga more. :D But the anime brought color to a colorful story, so I still appreciate it.
It's a light and fun series, a good watch if you feel like watching something that's fun and pretty. :D

Itazura na Kiss

The last episode was like an OVA. OVgAy, as the sub group put it, lol. Well, I don't mind the episode, but yes, I do agree that it shouldn't have been made the last one. They should've just stopped at episode 24, that was a good end to a good series. :D
But well, since it did give off that OVA feeling, I could just pretend the series ended at episode 24 and I watched the OVA later. Okay!

World Destruction

Uhm. It was like a game.
I didn't like it very much. It was presented just like a game, the characters lacked depth, etc. But the plot could've been good. And it was kind of fun along the way, I'll give it that. ^_^

Natsume Yuujinchou

Waiting for BSS subs of the last episode.

Macross Frontier

I really thought I was immune to fangirlism, but when I saw this picture (ACCIDENTALLY, as I was actually looking for something related to Toradora), I really was imagining Lulu serving me tea in his Onii-sama voice. I HAVE BEEN CORRUPTED. *wails*
But I still say I'm only obsessing over Lulu. I don't think about Geass and Lelouch all the time, after all~

And to live true to my obsessing over Lulu mode, I have now set out to go tl;dr mode on two things:
1. Why I like Lulu. aka What's with all the Onii-samaaaaaa crap aka Does this girl have some older brother complex??
2. A little more than just funstuff rant about Geass

Item # 1

I'm gonna go all serious mode here.

First of all, let us tackle the "onii-sama voice" issue.
I like the idea of having an older brother. I'm the eldest kid in the family, so I've always wondered what it'd be like to have an older sibling. Why not a sister? Just because older brothers in animu are always so kind, gentle, caring, and protective. XD XD HAHAHA!!
So when Lulu goes all Onii-sama mode to Nunnally, I'm like "Onii-sama~~~~ XD"--Yeah, right. I lied, I don't go all "Kyaaaa~!!" over that, but then, I don't really go "Kyaaaa~!!" over almost anything. Anyway, point is, that's one aspect of ~~Onii-sama~~ Lulu that drew me to him, I guess!
Just for the record, there's another older brother in Geass: Schneizel. (Odysseus doesn't count, imo) Why not Schneizel then? Answer: Too little screentime. Nyahaha~

Another thing that probably drew me to Lulu is because I can relate.
Yes, yes, I received Geass too, but I have my warlock locked up in our dungeon. My plans for world domination haven't been settled yet, though, so I'm currently idle. The plans should be perfect! All so I can go Raito "KEIKAKU DOOOOOOOOORI" mode in the end of it all~
I am contemplating striking out the entire last paragraph. Oh, whatever.
Anyway, Lulu is a very inconsistent character. The only thing that was ever consistent about him was FAAABBBUUULLOUUUUUSSSSS~. Just take some R2 situations, for example. Even though Rolo killed Shirley, he easily forgot all about that when Rolo went through that transformation from omg-oh-so-fagotty FREAKKK to hey-I'm-not-a-bad-guy fagotty FREAKKK. He went all "Must stay coldhearted because if not, I can't do anything" and "ffff, sebun erebun [he's the knight of sebun and he's an erebun. it also explains all the selling out business. and NO, i am not laughing at this, it's just some random stupid nickname i thought of just now.], not AGAINNNN" mode after the wonderful taste of shrine stones/concrete episode, then in the end, he was friends with Suzaku again. For someone who supposedly started out doing his Geass-assisted murders to find out who killed his beloved mum (remember Clovis?) YEARS ago, he would logically be one to hold a grudge. But it seems that isn't the case, now, is it? After all the "who killed my mum?" business, his main motivation transformed into how he wanted to create a kind world for Nunnally. Then at some point, we get the happiness is glass thingy on friends and stuff. Then in the end, he leaves his sister and friends and dies for the world. Uhm, what the heck, right?
WRONG.
Wrong, not because I pretend to understand the nature of Lulu's character as how the creators made him, but because I understand (in the emotional sense) Lulu's actions. It all goes:
The world freakin' sucks, you think you wanna do something about it but you don't, and if you were given the power, heck, you'd probably do something about it. Remember at some point in the first season, he said "No matter how hard you stretch, the world won't change." or something like that. I can relate to the thought of that so much more than I can ever show.
Then he suddenly gets POWAA. Then he just blunders his way through everything. Sure, his mini-missions were well-planned, as the anime put it, but... What about the sudden change of heart on Euphy's noob idea? ETC. Too lazy to expound on this, it's freakin 2am here.
Anyway, point is, in the end, even though Lelouch goes bouncing in and out of his madness state, he never really went crazy enough to actually be the coldhearted person he thought he must become for his plans to succeed. He was kinder than anyone, he understood what his actions meant, and was willing to bear it all. WHY though? Because. It's just in his nature. He IS under a Geass called the people's wish, though I've been making that out as the reason Geass never had a final rabu-rabu partner for Lulu. Everything people say about Lulu using people as his pawns, etc may be true to a certain extent, but, hey LOOK, he grew soft on Rolo just like that. Just because he knows sincerity when he sees it. Because he's ~~just such a fag for Rolo~~ probably the most soft-hearted character in this series. He's soft-hearted to the point of idiocy. He'll carry everything, it all borders on some martyrdom complex or something. Heck, it prolly is just that. But still, as I said, I can relate. And yes, I consider myself stupid, in relation to that matter. I may not have the martyrdom complex thing... But... I know how it is to hate the world so much and love it so much at the same time. To think of how twisted it is, yet in the end, you know if you had to save it, you will anyway just because you're that kind of person. And while knowing, you think to yourself over and over how stupid all of this is, including this entry with a coherence value of -95.6. O_O

Let me try to extract anything at all out of that big chunk of incoherence. ... Lulu is a fag, and so am I. Yay, done.

Geass and I have been through many ups and downs together. It failed, it succeeded, I rambled, I ranted, it killed, I raged, it ended, I went "Onii-samaaaaaaaaaaaaaa".
I've stopped watching Lulu's death, but I keep on playing Continued Story over and over.

First, my thoughts on the entire series.
ENTERTAINMENT, YEAAAH!
*ahem*
Well, looking at it from an objective point of view, Geass did fail in a couple of things. There were just too many random stuff scattered all over the story. There were two many characters that couldn't be decided on as main or side because the way they were treated is somewhere in between. There were too many strong (not literally) characters that were underdeveloped and some characters that were big in the OP ED but never got enough screentime, a cat that got too much screentime. Geass also had random fanservice thrown in here and there and even had whole fanservice episodes. There were a number of unresolved conflicts too.
Actually, I don't know if that really counts as an objective way of looking it, but I'm trying to look for flaws in Geass after having temporarily discarded my fan status.
One thing that Geass was really good at was ENTERTAINMENT though. It keeps you hooked to it, not because it's the best. It's like junk food. Junk food isn't good food (DUH, it's JUNK food), but it tastes good, so you're hooked. So, in a way, it's good in its own right, but not in the way that people would give it high reviews and whatnot. But hey, it actually gets high ratings, HAHA.
Also, even though I mentioned all those "flaws", even after having temporarily discarded my fan status, I can still point out that though the said things makes a story somewhat messy, real life is messy anyway, so what the heck. But I guess people expect anime to be different from real life, and RIGHTLY so. Just think if anime was just a wee bit more similar to real life... UHM. Well, that would have its good points too, i guess. ;))
Now I shall take my fan status and assimilate it into my being once again.
Geass wins. ;P I don't think it's "like, omgomg, the best show evaa!!" but I did enjoy it a lot! Not just the anime itself, but all the internet craze on it included. I never really read much on anime before, but Geass was just special. It had soo much potential for internet fun!!!!!! And living up to the potential, the internet delivered more-than-enough lulz. ^________^
Don't get me wrong, I do think it's one of the best anime I have watched. ^^, The flow may have had problems in one way or another, but looking at the plot, the story, the characters, etc... It had more than enough potential to be great! And it was great!! And I loved it. ^__^
Geass actually has the potential for a lot of sidestories, and even for a whole prequel. The whole a.t.b. era could actually be exploited so sunrise gets more cash.
What about a sequel?
Let me first address the issue that's been floating around with the Geass ending.
Is Lulu dead or alive?
I don't think it's either. It's just a made-up story by sunrise, so, hello? If it's open-ended, it's open-ended. You can't argue that anything is fact at this point because fact is, nothing really becomes a fact in a story until the writer writes it and the whole world reads it.
However, I do WANT Lulu to be dead.
It was just the best end for him~
I love Lulu and all, but I just don't like the idea of him being resurrected and his so-called sacrifice losing value and all the drama value of his death going ZERO.
I'm seriously killing sunrise if they make it so he's alive, SERIOUSLY.
Even though I say this, I do believe I don't see the point of Lulu having himself killed for real instead of just faking his death. And I'm wondering where the heck C.C.'s code is now. So, she lives forever? Suzaku has the code? ETC.
All the Geass business was kind of put aside, actually. O_O
But as I said, I still liked CG, all things considered.
Also, Lulu having the trademark dark area under his eyes, which has always signified death in Geass, kinda supports the idea that he IS dead.
So the original question again...
What about a sequel?
I'm getting some sunrise-related idea here...
Gundam SEED. Gundam SEED Destiny.
Athrun and Shinn were more of the main ones for the sequel, right?
I know Suzaku is Kira, but let's pretend anyway that he's Athrun and Lulu is Kira.
Best friends? Check.
War? Check.
Mechas? Check.
Partly open ending? Check.
Sunrise? Check.
Okay!! I say we'll get some Code Geass: Return of the Spinzaku sequel sometime in the future.
Schneizel will be Le Creuset and tada~ Kannon will be Dullindal. It actually makes a little sense, I'm telling you!!
If they make it so Lulu is alive, he'd be Kira who would only come out when he really needs to already. Suzaku, as Athrun, ends up with Nunnally, who is Cagalli, and DARN. This actually fits more than I originally thought. O_O It's Code Destiny. O_O I know Nunna and Cagalli are poles apart, but... Cagalli and Kira are sibs. Lulu and Nunna are sibs. OKAY. It fits too much, it disturbs me, so I'll stop.

Random Extras

I think Lulu isn't really inconsistent, actually. More like he just changed a lot throughout the series.
Also, I just had this sudden thought that he's actually a little like Charlie. But he reacted differently to all the same situations. Despite losing his mom and all, he didn't think about slaying gods and such. He was betrayed by Rolo too, but he didn't treat him as Charlie did V.V.
There were a lot of differences too, of course, but well, that's why this is labeled Random Extras.

And on Lulu's death, while the rest of the internet were arguing and all, this guy just won his way through all the crap. ;))

End Thoughts

Uhhh... I've been writing too long a thing with -9000 coherence level, so... I think I'll really stop.
Maybe some other entry will be better.
Oh well, whatever.

Yes!!! I finally got around to doing it~~
The results may not be as good as I originally wanted them to be, but I recently discovered that one of my strengths, in line with the procrastination campaign, is how my willingness and will decrease exponentially after STARTING a job. Thus, if one big job (*cough*thesis*cough*) consists of various subjobs, I end up procrastinating.

Well, I did say I was going to dedicate it to Lelouch. I just had to choose the clampified Lelouch because it looks sooo much like Kamui of X-1999. XD
They not only look alike, they're somewhat similar, character-wise, too, especially after how Geass ended. o_o But that's another story.

First of all, I got the three-column Minima Black Template here.
The BG image which is meant to qualify as a banner, blah blah, was taken from the sequence of clampified artworks in the 2nd Ending Theme of Code Geass R2.
Needlessly thinking about higher resolution fellas who might suddenly visit this place, I set out to modify the screenshot so I can combine it, CSS-magically, with a pure black background so it doesn't go crazy in higher resolution than mine (1280x720).
[I actually dunno if this really works because I have no way of testing it (Cry onii-samaaaa if there is, please~), but I tried using the browser zoom out feature and it seems to stay centered. I tried it on anidb, and in this case, the page stretches, that is, the background stuff still occupy the full width of the browser window/tab. SO, I guess it DID work]

Not much to say about that, it only involved built-in photoshop stuff.
The inclusion of the word pink in the "tagline" (still no idea on what the hell this is really called..), which happens to be some phrase that just randomly popped into my head, decided the colors of the rest of the site.

Uhmmmm... What else? Just added borders for the sidebar... Modified the blog width so there's more space between the sidebar area and posts area... And basically that was it. See? Not much effort. My original ideas involved modifying a hell of a lot of things from the minima templates. I figured some unread blog in the middle of nowhere isn't really worth all the effort. After all, when I make my themes, they are mostly geared for self-pleasing results anyway, soo, uhh... Yeah. Dunno what that makes of me.

One thing that really made me happy about this overhaul is my sudden will to google around for the codes for expandable post summaries. :D
First useful thing I found was the one in the help thingy of blogger. But then it left the task of making the expandability (? -LOL) selective to the reader/user. UHH. Like hell I know javascript.
I'm actually pro-learning, though. What I mean is learning new things is SURELY FINE, but... lol. This is just not the type you learn out of nowhere ESPECIALLY since you know somewhere out there, someone else who DOES know javascript or who was MUCH more a pro-learning type than I could ever be, was bound to have encountered the same problem and has found a solution to it.
Summary: I like learning, but I don't see the need to do it immediately (or at all) if someone else already has.

Anyway, I did learn something new. I learned that the b tags in the xml for the template are for javascript stuff. I could be wrong of course. Someone cry Onii-samaaaa if I'm wrong pleeeeaaase.

It involved this chunk of javascript I didn't bother looking at since I was just excited to finally have my expandable posts, so, this is just to say another "See?".

Why am I even excusing myself anyway?? Basically, I'm just this idiot who actually believes that things should be done by oneself, as much as possible. And if help is sought out from external sources, one must at least try to understand the help one got. Again, IF possible. But in the end, I'm too lazy, too without determination, too without any resolve in life to actually get things done the way I want. So in the end, for big things, I end up doing nothing.
For small things like this one, especially because it involves my sweetly selectively expandable posts, I can twist my principles anytime. OH, yeaah.
Damn, I just needlessly rambled. Effect of the current lack of internet as I write this (Once again, an excuse, thank you very much~).

Moving on, the next part would be the logo, I guess. It's just Lulu's Geass eye. I know it contradicts with my GEASS IS PIIIIINNNKKKKKUUUUU stand, but it was the first thing I could find. I just wanted to whip up a quick icon since I don't know when I'd have the streeennngggth to do blogstuff again. But I'm guessing I would tomorrow, since if I'm gonna look for PIIIINNNKKKUU geass, I better do it before finally removing the series from my hard disk-WHICH I PLAN to do tomorrow.

So, now to list my accomplishments and the things I still need to do in line with this blog's layout, etc.

It also fails to display the edit button which I've always found to be very convenient. Also, since I set the link color to white, it seems the link color for posts would also be, by default, white. This may be hard to distinguish from the slightly gray normal text, so I'm manually pink-ing (NOT pinking) the links for this post. I dunno how to override the style other than to use an inline style. (Cry onii-samaaa if you know how please~) Thanks. However, I am not doing this for the rest of the posts since no one really reads this blog anyway. Even if there's someone who actually does, it's just too much trouble. I don't do links so much anyway.

The official English title seems to be "The Girl who Leapt through Time". From the title itself, this is all about a girl who can leap through time... Well, not exactly. Makoto is just your ordinary high school girl when tada~ all of the sudden, she had time LEAPING (and i mean LEAPING, she LEAPS, lol. You'll know if you watch. ;p) capabilities. At first, she was all, "oh kewl~ time-leaps! SWEET." But well, we wouldn't have a movie that got into anidb's top 10 if she just leapt and grinned all the time, would we? At some point, her leaps involved somewhat bigger matters in life, though it might seem like they weren't. And somehow, things just started to go wrong........
And there you have the conflict of the movie. :D At some point will come the climax~

The Matrix Reloaded came out when I was in High School which made it rather memorable, since I watched it on the big screen. Okay. I finished Geass about 1.5 hrs ago, but seeing as I need to pretend to follow a schedule, I'll just put in some of my initial reactions and edit this later.

-Schneizel turned dumb. -_- OK. I'm not like more intelligent than him or what, but really, he just turned dumb all of the sudden. It was all a good choice of games. Just answer the questions you know the answer to, something like that? Well, Lelou-chan, good job. ^_~ Yeah right. Even the drama doesn't get to me now, Lelou, why doesn't it? Well, whatever, this is initial rxns post, keep it short, self.

He doesn't want to hurt people unless necessary but when it's necessary he won't flinch no matter how many people get involved in his evil ways. So he didn't think it was necessary to kill Cornelia? Maybe it wasn't, maybe I get that. BUT, that's only if he actually believed Lelou would win.... Which now makes it inconsistent and which now makes it more plausible that he just thought she wasn't worth the time. If the fingersnap gun technique didn't do it, no need to lift more fingers for her. BUT HOW DID SHE GET OFF DAMOCLES?? Why is she in the hospital?? Did Schneizel think that she was gonna serve him if he let her live? Why does he need her? Oh no reason, but it's good to have more hands around. BLAH BLAH. I DUN GET IT. This isn't worth pondering over. Maybe Schneizel is actually just as inconsistent as Lelou and thus Lelou is the man he loved the most. Awwwweeeeeee. Brotherly love (cough*Ouran*cough). Ugh. But well, wtf, Schneizel is a freakin anime character. Maybe it's just the creators being inconsistent. LALALA.

HOW DID GUILFORD SURVIVE???
IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!!!?? Apparently not. Apparently I also can't recreate what I wrote before, damn blogger editor. Garrrrr. So anyway, I think I said something about his love overpowering Fleija, "hime-sama yo! aishiteruuuuuuuuu!!" powaaaaaa!! Then a Shoujo Bubble pops up, envelopes him, and protects him from Fleija. But that doesn't explain the blindman-maybeitsfortheshades-newlook-blahblah-phenomenon. And the crutch. So I think I wrote something about maybe he jumped off from his KMF, got blinded by the OH SO BRIGHT Fleija light, hit his leg badly upon landing, and thus the crutch. All in 0.6ns, so it wasn't caught by the slow Geass cameras. A bit close to the Fisher phenomenon, I believe it's a magic number, see? And THERE HAD TO BE MAGIC IN THAT. And it's freakin anime, wth.

Btw, here's the crutch. Would you believe Geass has Shoujo Bubbles now??? Either that, or I was bored. Which would it be? Focus on the crutch~ It's the key to the Guilford Mystery. Blah blah. It's clickable, btw. Don't wanna miss the shoujo bubbles now, do you?

It has always been part of my fantasies when I was a kid, and now as an adult who pretends to be a kid, to have a beam saber and becoming a Jedi. Piloting a Gundam equipped with a beam saber is also fine. Aside from the purpose of connecting the title to the actual topic of this post, I mentioned this because… Surprise! It is connected.

If you’re a Jedi or a Gundam Pilot, having 20/20 vision is a plus. Well, I guess the Jedi have their feeling the force stuff, but this is 100% true for Gundam pilots. Also, 20/20 vision is good not only in the fantasy world, but also in the real world. For people who don’t have perfect vision, glasses and contact lenses have always been their good friends. But now, laser can also be these people’s friends, not only in the form of beam sabers in their fantasies, but also as the light that will correct their vision and make the world appear clearer to them.
You may have heard of LASIK (Laser Assisted In Situ Keratomileusis), a procedure that uses laser to correct one’s vision. Now, there is a newer form of this procedure that goes by the name of iLASIK. This is an all-laser LASIK procedure that has been looked into by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) and NASA for improving the vision of some of their specialized personnel who are usually exposed to extreme conditions. Unlike the old LASIK procedure, iLASIK uses two lasers instead of one. This significantly improves the safety of the procedure since it is a computer-guided laser, instead of a microkeratome blade, that is now used to create the corneal flap before the other laser is used to modify the inner layers of the cornea for vision correction. The laser used for vision correction is guided by the wave-front mapping data that was generated at the beginning of the procedure to map the unique characteristics of the individual’s eye.
Both NASA and the DOD have attested to the effectiveness and the safety of the new LASIK technology. The DOD had the procedure performed on 100 military personnel and 95% achieved 20/20 uncorrected vision after undergoing the procedure! I myself would want to undergo this procedure to have my vision corrected someday. However, according to the LASIK information on their website, I haven’t met all of the requirements yet. But I know someday, I’ll have my vision corrected and become the greatest Gundam Pilot ever!!! Or at least the vision correction part… Thanks to iLASIK!

I was supposed to do this entry yesterday, but I got too sleepy and too caught up in an online philosophy,etc. discussion. It's quite interesting to learn about the experiences and thoughts of people you don't know and who grew up in a completely different environment/culture. It's also interesting for me to find people who are willing to talk about themselves so honestly and all to people they don't know. I could probably be wrong about the honestly part, but really, it's easier to be honest when it comes to things like that. It requires less brain power and people who are proud of who they are to a certain extent won't really have it any other way anyway. Well, whatever, this is a Geass entry so let's move on~

So let's start off with the supposedly final boss in the way of our main protagonist Lelou-chan.

OR this could be an attempt at symbolism. Note the similarity to chess pieces. They were both black though. King and Queen? Dunno.
OR this could be just overelaborate blah of the creators, they'd rather design detonators than clean up the storyboard, lol. WELL, not that I think Geass is BAD. I guess it's just in an anticlimactic period. Could be just the quiet before hell breaks loose. Hopefully 24 and 25 do not disappoint. ^^,
I like geass, it's the only anime that REALLY gets special attention on this blog, isn't it? He.he.he.

First, lelouch and ashford, the heart shaped container~ *hearts* <3 blah***~ Second, the governor environment. Prolly that would be a box-shaped container. Just because...~ -_- Third, the Schneizel container~ That would be a sphere. Fleija sphere. PINK. Nunnally has no character. No nothing. There are two more episodes, I'm wondering how they will end her. Nunnally has no spine. Sure, believe Schneizel over you beloved brother anytime~ No doubt? No doubt at all?? Or maybe Schneizel is just reaaalllly good at manipulating people or something. But really...! With all the Onii-sama I'll carry your sins crap, shouldn't she, who supposedly believes in the kindness of people and all blah blah, be the last one to stop believing in her oh-so-beloved Onii-sama?? Nunnally, just DIE already. Your memory is okay. Your presence is annoying. Just go Fleija yourself.

The Dark Knight

But this movie should've been entitled The Joker or some creative way to say that (sorry, brain's not cooperating). Why? This isn't about Batman vs. Joker. This is about the whole city vs. Joker. So Joker is the main character, even though he's the antagonist. His character came out so strongly, and Batman was just a shadow in this movie. And because of that, darnit, I give it a freakin 9.9! I don't like overly dramatic martyrdom drama, that's why. But heck, I don't really care 'cuz I just enjoyed the movie, mostly!
Hey, maybe they even messed up the drama part 'cuz they enjoyed the Joker so much but they had to, you know, somehow make it look like Batman was the main character, thus the martyrdom drama at the end. Good enough attempt, I suppose! But Joker still wins, lol.
And I will never wear hockey pads and ALWAYS bring a peeler with me!

Well, it isn't exactly recycled.
I just remembered that I emailed a friend of mine some... err.. resources... And due to the part of me that thinks the space (never waste space :3) big yahoo mail textbox is wasted when it's blank, uhh... I just suddenly randomly rambled.
Fun thing about it is, after all that rambling, I get only one line of reaction. And not even a MOO of agreement, or pondering, or whatever in it!! Makes me wonder whether anything in my rambling actually got through. >_>

I was wondering you know.. why Eden cheese is named so.. Is it because there was a person named Eden and Eden cheese was named after him/her? Is there actually a person who liked Eden cheese so much that he/she named his/her kid Eden? Or maybe a pet? Eden isn't a very cute pet name. -_- Maybe their farm (where the cows resided) was so pretty they considered it as their 'Eden' and so they named the cheese they produced Eden...? Then, by working hard day by day, Eden cheese is now where it is. Happy ending!! yay!! ^_^ Or maybe they were tricked by someone to sell their secret cheese formula to the ridiculously rich and money-hoarding capitalists? Oh no. sad ending. Well, maybe not, right? Maybe they didn't know what they were missing. Like, maybe they were offered quite a big amount for it.. after all, they might have been a simple family in their quiet little farm.. Sincerely thinking that that place was 'Eden'. No better place than home. Something like that... Somehow, all this babbling has made me want to find out more about the history of Eden cheese. o_O What if it isn't like this at all? What if it's a very plain name with no story behind it after all? Is a name with a longer, more colorful story behind it more meaningful than a name decided by coin-toss or some other random method? Is there more to names than being mere labels attached to everything so they can be distinguished from each other with mere sounds or letters? Is it, after all, only for convenience? It would be very sad if that were so, because some people hold on to their names like their lifeblood. Because even if it were only for convenience, somehow, it sets them apart. It gives them some kind of identity to hold on to... Names must have such fragile existences. They must be always at their limits. After all, with only a few letters and such short sounds, they are sometimes forced to carry the burden of entire souls, entire beings, entire lives within them. So maybe we should treasure names more. After all, with only these few letters, people can somehow feel their place in this world.
And I'd bet you anything the cows at the [fictitious] Eden farm don't give a shit about all this. :))

Well, so I was 10% expecting the twist for this episode. I don't really believe myself about the space transfer thing anymore. Nor did I still REALLY expect the twist to happen since uhh, 3 more eps, right? But well, I guess that's just like Geass~
If the space transfer thing is actually true though, I might actually pull my hair out. I hope there's a more plausible explanation than some opening the creators left for escape... If that was even what it was. What else could it be? It could be just another case of Engrish, that's what.

Well, the more I think about it, the less I'm believing the space transfer thing, which is good. Plus, it seems from the preview that Sayoko was alive too, so... Maybe she actually saved Nunnally with her superhuman combat skills and physical abilities? I HAVE NO IDEA HOW THAT WOULD'VE BEEN ACHIEVED. Of course, it could be that they just made us believe that Nunnally was within the ~pink light~ of destruction, even though she wasn't. Or maybe that isn't Nunnally-- yeahrightsss.
Anyway, it doesn't matter. Geass defies logic, and in a week, I'll find out how the twisted workings of the Geass creators' minds go~ I'm being manipulated by the anime creators. @_@
Overthinking does not do me any good. Except that I actually mentioned something to a friend before about how the most formidable enemy for Lelouch and even Suzaku could actually be Nunnally and OMG, what the heck, that was supposed to be a far-fetched idea. o_O
And on overthinking... I read stuff on the net about geass, which I don't usually do for anime since, well, I dunno. Which is why I'm not really expecting anyone to read this~
BUT, it was an epiphany. People have been going on about the 40,000,000 liters of destruction for fleija and how if that meant the volume of fleija's destruction, it would only be 21m in R and that sure wouldn't fit 35 million people~ Something like that. Except that the fansub group says that the closed captions didn't actually say liters, it said "riita", whatever that is.
I just happened to look at the fleija screen again (it's here) and it says 20 Mega-collapse reinforced by sakuradite by 20 unitSSS. (yeah, so japs have no plural forms, but discern between english and jap when ur using it! but whatever, engrish funstuff is goood~) Well, I'm beginning to doubt this myself since I can't really understand the Engrish. It's possible though?
Anyway, point is maybe that's what 40M riita is-- 40 Mega-collapse.
It's much simpler math too, 20+20=40, so if we want to believe the Geass makers ~~are dumb~~ don't like math, then it kinda fits. But yeah, it isn't really clear anyway since Geass is Geass. So, uhh.. I dunno. :P
Well, I don't believe of course that Geass makers are dumb, I just like ~~strikeout~~ as a text effect. I like Geass. It's soo Geass. Wakes me up every monday morning cuz I don't do coffee~

There was this scene where Schneizel held a white king, right? And now Lelouch is an emperor (king) in WHITE. Uhm. I don't want to believe it means anything though. I don't actually. It just came to mind all of the sudden while grieving over Lelouch's new costume.
